Get onboard with this tasty new lot of one of the wildest Rwandan coffees we've experienced! We bought several small lots from Community Coffee Rwanda this year and will be featuring them all under their Umusazi label. 

Umusazi means: foolish, crazy, something is wrong in your head. This coffee is crazy for sure. Crazy good.

Eric Wright started using this word after another processor told him he was crazy for processing with this kind of extended anaerobic fermentation, and that he was ruining the coffee. However, we know he was absolutely on the right track! 

This first offering is a funky anaerobic natural, featuring one of Eric's careful long fermentation processes.
