Ligia's husband Nelson Ramirez comes from a coffee producing family in Honduras. After being married for 10 years they decided to buy their own farm together. After 10 years of working this first farm, they decided to buy a second one that Ligia could really focus on. They currently grow Yellow Catuai and Parainema. They pick only ripe cherries then float them to remove any unripes. They then dry the cherries on raised beds for around 18 days. During this period of drying they remove any defective cherries. This coffee is bright and lively jumping off of the cupping table. It tastes like a blood orange sangria and cools into an almost black cherry juice.
